Belle Pepper care guide
Food
Belle eats (daily):
- Dry kibble provided by an Automatic feeder
3 times a day - Wet food: provided by hand (see below how to make each meal)
Feeding schedule

Litterbox
- Scoop 2x day
- Add a bit more sand if needed
- Cleaning: wash once a month
- Cleaning: wash once a month
Water
- Water fountain: Check if it is running and add fresh water every 3 days
- Cleaning: wash every 3 days (upper part as well as inside, remove the filters) and refill with fresh filtered water
- Water bowl: add fresh water if you are not staying overnight (this is a backup in case fountain fails)
Play
- She likes to play a lot! Ideally 3 x for 15-20 minutes a day; favorite times always after eating
- Most loved toys:
mouseandworm(see below for pics) – but beware, string can hurt her, play with caution, don’t let toy lie around. - Soso-loved aka might play with it if nothing else is there: automatic ball inside the pinkish
spaceship(needs to be recharged sometimes)

Warning: only open the catio while you are at home and during the day. if it rains, cover it up with
Hygiene
- Teeth brushing: Use finger brush, 3x week or so
- Fur brushing: she really likes it, ideally done every day
Sleeping
- Belle sleeps often in bed (typically at one's feet by herself), sometimes she sleeps somewhere else by herself, such as on chairs, floor, inside tunnel, etc.
- In the morning, she often comes to bed even if she did not sleep there: ignore her if she tries to wake you up in the morning, only pay attention when you stand up.

Things Belle does not like
Belle is very scared of thunder and rain. She will try to find a spot to hide, but often remains restless throughout a storm.
No go areas of the house
No-go areas for Belle: bathroom and closets in the office and bedroom. Too many things she could swallow!
Coming in and out of the house
Please always use the front door to come in and exit, Belle can escape more easily through the backdoor.

Before you leave
- make sure you closed the catio
- make sure all doors are locked all the way
- make sure all windows are closed
- put the key back in the lock box (see your email for code)
